Dear Barrister Godwin
Thank you for your email. I have to say that, rather like Kester O John, I am
beginning to get 'pieced off' with the stress of all this. Firstly Fr Wright
hires me a Barrister who cannot sign his own name, then finds one who does not
know his own age. I sent Fr Wright a check weeks ago, but he claimed he could
not cash it. Then he tells me that he has cashed a check in connection with the
sale of his car, so I do not know why he chose not to cash my check. Also, he
tried to send me a photograph of Christ to let me know who I am dealing with.
Now you tell me the money transfer I sent is not good enough. JUST WHAT IS GOING
ON? I do have a business to run inbetween trying to sort out this bequest and
do not have endless amounts of time available to cancel and re-issue money orders.
I have received another email from Barrister Christopher which I reproduce below,
and I am beginning to believe his warnings. Have you sent me a fake passport?
Chris seems to know you quite well and says you are not a Head Barrister at all.
You will also note that Chris was very pleased to complete the profile I sent
him, whereas you simply pretended that you did not receive it.
I think it may be better if you cancel your flight until we sort all this out
- and don't go reporting me to Fr Wright, let's keep this between ourselves.
I would appreciate your explanation and the completed profile without delay,
as I am rapidly losing my patience.

Thank you for your latest email, which, I must admit, disgusts me. How dare you
suggest that I did not send you the fees. I specifically took time out of my
very busy working schedule to arrange the transfer, and today I had to take further
time out to cancel the transaction. You seem to forget that I am actually trying
to run a business as well as run around sorting out money transfers for you.
You say you do not know Barrister Christopher, yet he is a Supreme Barrister
and sat next to you at Barrister School. I suspect that you are pretending that
you have never heard of him, because he does not appear to have a good opinion
of you. Not only that, but Chris told me that I could pay his fees by MoneyGram,
and I am beginning to wish that I had. Is the passport that you sent me a fake,
as Chris suggests? Please do not ignore my queries, as we cannot continue until
I feel sure in my mind that you are truthful.
I did not ask you not to mention our transaction to Fr Wright - I asked that
you did not tell him that I was questioning your honesty, as I did not think
he needed to know. As a Head of Barristers, I would not expect you to miss the
point so easily.
Whilst you say that you are working with me because of Fr Wright, you seem to
have forgotten that the real reason you are working with me is because you wish
to marry me. It would pay you well to remember that - as you said yourself earlier,
we are not talking about peanuts.
I need to know the type of man that I am dealing with - and I would like to see
that completed profile without further delay. Chris has completed his and I have
to say, he seems to be a really decent man.
